Sudden death from a heart condition, especially when the death is of a young person, is a tragedy for family and friends. “Cardiac Risk in the Young,” or CRY, offers bereavement support, awareness, screening and research.

Cardiac screening of young people is an important service, screening sessions for those aged from 14 to 35 are promoted by Hertbeats. Screening includes ECG (Electrocardiogram) and echocardiogram monitoring to discover any life-threatening cardiac conditions which could cause sudden and premature death.

Please email Brian Gibson Life President of Hertbeats on bricry276@gmail.com for information about CRY’s activities in the St Albans area.
