Hertbeats organises a variety of outings to stately homes, tourist attractions and other interesting places around the country. Participants are transported by coach and are collected and returned the same day at two locations in St Albans: The Ridgeway in Marshalswick and the ‘Three Hammers’ in Chiswell Green.

An outing to visit Ham House in Richmond was planned for Summer 2020. It was canceled due to Covid but it is planned to revive the outing when possible. Information is shown below to show the type of outing that Hertbeats organises. In 2021 there has been an outing to a riverboat trip from Windsor coupled with Bekonscot model village.
Ham House. The house, which is situated on the banks of the Thames in Richmond, is a rare and atmospheric 17th Century house which is claimed by the National Trust to be “unique in Europe as the most complete survival of fashion and power”.
Hertbeats outings that took place in 2019 are listed below
September 2019: Polesden Lacey, one of the National Trust’s most popular properties, the house is set in grounds of 1,400 acres.
April 2019: Imperial War Museum at Duxford which is Britain’s largest aviation museum.
May 2019: There were two different locations: The Vyne near Basingstoke which is a National Trust property originally dating back to the time of Henry VIII and a guided tour round the Bombay Sapphire distillery in Laverstoke.
June 2019: The Bluebell Railway line and Borde Hill Gardens, both near Haywards Heath
July 2019: Hever Castle in the village of Hever in Kent.
