Book Group

Hertbeats Book Group meets every month to discuss a book which the group has selected beforehand. Meetings are informal and friendly with everyone contributing.

The Book Group meets on the second Thursday of every month. Meetings are held in a private room at The Green Man pub in Sandridge, starting at 10.30 am.

Group members choose a book to read in the month preceding each meeting. At the meeting there is an informal discussion about the book that has been read, and debates on any other topics that arise! It is a small and friendly group, and new members are very welcome. Coffee and tea is served midway.
A wide variety of books are selected.

People with different views are encouraged – it makes the discussion more interesting. The normal rules of tolerance and respect are observed.
